Where do you live?
Do you want to keep it?
If not ignore my previous questions and let it go outside preferably in the woods.

Brown recluse

Report this incident to you local agricultural authority and send this frog to them to be destroyed.

It's a Pacific Chorus Frog, their colours varies, and they have been turning up in Christmas trees everywhere. Officials advise killing it by putting it into a bag, then the freezer - but you can also keep it as a pet as long as you never release it.

My brother 'accidentally' brought back a live asian long-horned beetle from Hong Kong, he said he gave it cyanide but the poison didn't take..so after we got back to Canada, we had that as a pet for a week or two before it died and joined his collection.

When I helped clean the habitat, I made sure the stuff in it, leaves, twigs, a little dirt, when double bagged into the trash instead of being dumped in the backyard. It's not just eggs I was worried about (I think it was a male beetle, it was blue and beautiful), it's bacteria too.
