I had a goose as a teenager, and would like to get another one.
I live in a medium sized Midwestern city that just started allowing hipsters to own chickens and other fowl. I'd like to fence in my front yard with a 3' picket fence, and keep an American Buff out there as a first line of defense against intruders.
I have a 70lbs Chesapeake indoors, but I'm thinking most city folk are more afraid of a goose charging them than a dog that looks like a lab.
I'm only worried about the noise level being too much for my neighbors, and the thing destroying my yard. The goose I had as a kid did neither, but it's a serious concern.
Yay or nay /goose/?

Those don't scare anybody. They just make it easier for the dindus to see when they're breaking in.
