How long would it take for me to breed a type of dog with a human level IQ of 130?
I'm honestly shocked nobody has tried to push canine intelligence to it's highest limit yet.
What use would a dog with high IQ have?

I'm not allowed to be inquisitive?

We could train them to infiltrate as pets and learn language to gather information.

people have been trying for about 10,000 years, without a hint of success. So it would take longer than that.

How do we know animals aren't already used for this? It would be shitty espionage to let methods of spying become known.

Are you fucking retarded? We've been doing that with monkeys for ages and they show no sign of improvement past their max capacities.

You're going full /x/ my friend, never go full /x/

>We've been doing that with monkeys for ages
eh... Even if they are, there could've been maybe 15 or 20 generations in the last few hundred years. Apes aren't really reproductive age until like 15 years old.

Animals apart from humans being intelligent is a fairly new concept. Dogs are bred more for their prey drive and companionship and use as tools vs sheer problem solving capacity. Dogs just use humans to solve problems. Humans are some 120 odd thousand years old and even with 7 billion currently alive at this moment the average human is only 25-30 odd percent more intelligent than the average ape.
