I'm in the UK and I'd like to grow rare and unusual plants as a hobby. In particular I would like to grow salvia divinorum. Since the psychoactive substance act it is illegal to purchase for consumption, but is legal to sell otherwise, as far as I can tell. But I can't find anywhere that I can actually buy a plant. Is it actually illegal to buy the plant for non-consumption purposes? If there is a safe and legal way to grow, then I'd be very interested to know how and where to buy a plant from. Any ideas and advice?

I dont know if it exists anymore but in like 2008 i bought a cutting drom arena ethnobotanicals. It prompty died. Theyre hard as hell to grow, and.ive been growing pot for most of my life. They need constant extreme humidity and indirect sunlight
Did it look healthy when it arrived?

>extreme humidity and indirect sunlight
finding cuttings is the least of your worries
if you don't build a proper greenhouse, you will fail

But from a legal standpoint am i safe to search and buy a plant online and grow it at home as long as i dont consume it?

In america, salvia is legal to possess. It is not legal to manufacture drugs so if qhere you lives defines salvia as an illegal drug i would grow pitcher plants instead or something
