My 15 year old cat over at my mom's house got it's back broken and legs broken by two pitbulls today.
Mom and sister had to drive it to the vet and get it euthanized.

I work with a ton of pitbulls every day and out of like 30 pitbulls that I work with each week only one of them is a huge asshole with violent tendencies towards other dogs, but only big dogs, he really just hates big dogs, he's a smaller pit and he has little man syndrome. They are. This isn't to say they're bad dogs, this is to say they've been bred to be aggressive. They were literally designed for pitfights with other dogs and bulls. The lack of selective breeding to take out this mentality means those habits still exist in pitbulls. If you exercise caution, properly train them, and keep them away from specific stimuli (Other dogs, aggressive humans, etc) they can be feasible pets, but most people don't like to put in that effort so we get constant stories of these fucks biting everything before getting put down.
