If in a wolf pack only the alpha male and alpha female are allowed

I'm not sure exactly about the Alpha having a monopoly on breeding rights, but I do know that the Alpha can change depending on whether an animal gets injured, old, or diseased. So what was once a beta can at some point become an alpha. If only the Alpha were allowed to reproduce, when it died who would breed? A former beta.

Also I've seen people here challenge the Alpha/Beta dichotomy in the wild, arguing its only something that occurs in captive Wolves. But I don't really know the truth about that either.

Really though, the kids will eventually fuck off to find other dogs to fuck, and then their kids will form a pack with them until they finally fuck off, and so on and so forth.
