Any idea what's growing on my German Shepherd's leg? Small squishy/fatty sack that I just noticed. Doesn't bother him.

You know who would know something like that? A vet.

It could possibly be a skin tag, which shouldn't harmful at all just a little unsightly.

This
I hope you weren't putting all your cards on us, because you should take the pupper to the vet if you're genuinely concerned.
Looks likely to be a skintag, but I didn't go to veterinary school... So my opinion is useless and he might have a malignant cancer. Idk, homie.
>>
>>2433152
Is it irregular in shape or texture? If so I'd get it checked out, often irregular = possibility for malignancy.
>>
If it's hard when you squish it, it's almost certainly a tumor. If it's soft, it's probably something that won't hurt your dog, but you should still get it check out.

If you aren't going to take care of your dog, don't get one.

Currently going to veterinary school, and I'd still agree with you.

Could be a skin tag, could be cancer- you wouldn't know unless you did a biopsy. You have two choices, get it removed and do a biopsy, or leave it until it grows rapidly/starts bothering the pup/bleeds then get it removed and sent off.

I actually have one of those on the shoulder where I used to have a birthmark, only it's kinda getting black in the middle.

Wtf, are these things?

Fat tissue tumor probably. See a vet.
