757fag here. People hate these things because they moved in 20 years ago and have set up shop year round, eating everything, shitting everywhere, and being generally destructive.

They are aggressive and have no sense of self preservation. They are not deterred by gumans, cars, or loud noises. They disrupt traffic and attack people.

Honestly I believe uleuthanization was the best way to handle this particular group. If they persisted in the area, some disgruntled "salt life" bro would've done something far worse to them

In elementary school we couldn't go outside to play sometimes because there would be geese on the playground and in the soccer field.

My uncle would even try to keep me from working in certain yards when I worked with him in high school because there's were geese in them.

Approx 75 people showed up to "vigil" (lol). I think most people in the area think the cull was justified as long as it was done humanely. This area is a huge suburban sprawl so there are plenty of aging soccer moms here to wine about muh pwetty ammamals. Also PETA is right next door to Virginia beach over in Norfolk fwiw
