There was a third garter snake in the bathroom. Pretty sure they couldn't have made it back, I did take the pair pretty far away. Wonder if it's mating season or something and they like my house

I have mice and the glue traps were something I had sitting around
Anyways the snakes are 100% fine, stomach was definitely not torn open

I've never had success with live catch traps inside of my house. Outside my home they've worked but never inside. Could be bad luck but whenever I have mice I use glue traps
I check them pretty often, and from my personal experience the mice are never visibly injured. I just relocate them as soon as possible and set them free
The only thing I've had them kill are random insects and spiders that stumble into them

Dude if you have problems with rats and mice just buy a cat and feed it rarely. It was literally created for that exact purpose.

I've been using non stick cooking spray or vegetable oil
Basically I apply it under whatever is stuck and it can free itself after a little bit of wiggling around
Of course I don't think the trap works really well afterwards, but I have loads of the things so that isn't really a problem
