I use a simple pellet rifle. Doesn't kill the fuckers, but they usually don't come back.

I live in a housing division out in the sticks and can't just blast the little fuckers, but if I could, a shottie would be nice.

I live way out in the country so I don't have the problem with strays and ferals like city fags.
However I did start noticing dead half eaten birds and cat shit in my kids sand box.
I used a live trap and caught a nasty ass Tom on the first night. Dropped him at the local shelter. Within a week I caught two more and did the same.
So yeah, live trap and animal shelter is my method.

Bear traps with tuna

18 feral cats
3 raccoons
1 opossum

Been a year, neighbor fed the ferals and they spread like wildfire.

Neighbor moved out and left the mess, city said they couldn't do anything so I set traps for them. Take the corpses to the tallow works outside of town.
