Just made this tank for the lulz. I can't decide what to keep. Any pet/plants recommendation?
Aside from Jewel Orchid, Anubiad, Bucephranda ofcourse, these are coming very soon.
Plenty more room for plants in the dry spot.
Also if you guys have anything similar(terrarium, vivarium, paludarium) post em. I will update my tank pretty soon.

Instead of moss, you should have done a carpet of baby tears or hair grass emersed like

That'll give you a look that nobody else has

Very nice idea! Moss are cheap and I can easily replace em with something else.

Very pretty, me jelly.
As for livestock, fish are of course out of the question, but a couple of shrimps could do fine. I'd get something amphibian, like a frog or turtle or something.
With a few sticks to climb on, some hides and more plants that provide a bit of cover this would be perfect for vampire crabs (Geosesarma)

Could you make a webm? I'd love to see that waterfall in motion.

Maybe you're thinking of something else, but vampire crabs really want live food like Drosophila or pinhead crickets.
They will eat other stuff but they don't do well on it and might even starve. They also definitely won't reproduce without live food.

Hmm, yeah mine was definitely not that color. It was orange. I sold em away to a friend because I was moving.

You probably had one of these then. They are much more common.
Geosesarma are almost as easy though, maybe even easier since they don't really go into the water. They want it warm and humid, they need a hide to retreat to and they like to climb. You feed them small live food and occasionally vegetables and fish food pellets and they're happy.
And don't worry about breeding crickets or anything for live food, you can just buy them in pet stores or online. Live food is cheap and lasts a decent amount of time.

Not those guys. Its these guys, they're like 100x rarer than vampire crabs but 10 times easier as well
I'm really considering Newt here, since Fire Belly is like 3 dollars where I live

if heat is not a problem where you are and you're good at keeping pH from going erratic, newts are based little critters.

What's the different between a japanese one and a chinese one

Ghost shrimp

About 3,045 kilometers.
Nice setup anon! Have you considered firebelly toads ? They're really cool.

>They don't even breathe fire
I wish common names would cut it out with the false advertising

Looks alot nicer than my turtle tank...it's a clear storage bin.
