Cats and dogs, equally. Rats are superior but their lifespans are exhausting and not worth it.

If you consider things you can't meaningfully interact with like snakes and inverts and such pets then it definitely goes to inverts just for the sheer variety. There are endless shapes and color combinations, interesting behaviors and so on.

If you don't consider these pets (and I see why people would) its healthy and happy dogs, none of that inbred meme shit.
