it kinda depends on the dog, if you're absolutely set on doing this, you'd be best finding a breed with low prey drive and that has a strong guarding instinct but honestly if you lost the dog it'd be entirely your own fault. if you had a high enough fence around the perimeter of your land, you'd probably be fine.

can't comment on ravens though.

You'll have to just settle for feeding the ravens, but most dogs always come home.

Yeah that's pretty much what i meant, get a couple if there aren't any already in the area and raise them indoor just for a short time, then let them out. I'm mostly worried about the dog.
I suppose what >>2415799 said is best, i will opt for a breed that's not too ruff.
