Green cheek conure, indian ringneck or parrolets, /an/? I can't decide. Out of the above three, which is the most 'playful'?
Have had budgies and cockatiels, baby sat an umbrella cockatoo, amazon, sun conure and multiple macaw species. Plan on getting a caique in the future as well.

The correct answer is always cockatiels

However ringnecks are harder to tame. Conures I found like human contact

It depends on the individual.

I had one most of my life and birb sat two lesbian cockatiels. I loved mine but she didn't 'play' like I've seen ringnecks, conures and caiques do.

Yeah, even hand fed ones? I never met a ringneck before but what videos I've seen of them they seem so happy. I could spend most my day with one and even if I'm at work, my roomie would be around. Assuming that it may bond or at least tolerate the both of us with enough interaction.
You need a Caique. By the way /an/ sucks at parrots.
