>be going to sleep
>comfy af
>suddenly a light out of the corner of my eye
>look over
>it's a firefly
>tinfoil hat engaged
>"The gubment dun put a robotic spy insect with micro-cameras and microphones on my ceiling"
>i cannot sleep with the gubment watching
>get up to toss it out
>it's not a firefly
>but it looks like one
>catch in in a glass vial

According to my google-fu it's probably a say's firefly, but it's not the normal type that i've always seen around here.
It glows very brightly in short bursts unlike the fireflies i'm used to.

Nope, the markings are different, it'd have two lines down it's back if it were a mimic

You sure that's not a regular lightning bug?
>>
Looks like every lightening bug I've ever seen in Virginia.
>>
It's a regular old firefly m8.
>>
It *is* a firefly, but it's a different species than i've ever seen here.
>>
>>2397418
It is.
OPs a spaz, the whole tinfoil hat thing should have been the first clue.
>>
>it took man thousands of years to invent light bulb
>bug shines its own light since it's born
Explain this, evolutionists
