Anon, can you tell, what kind of bird (if any) produces the sound, that you can hear in picrelated?

They call it a "golden heron" in the cartoon (btw it's great and you should totally watch it), but I swear, I haven't yet found any single type of heron (or crane, for that matter) singing in that way.
All i know, this sound is commonly used in japanese media (games/cartoons)
Tried to ask /co/, but to no avail
I'm desperate to find the source of that sound.

That's a crow if I ever heard one.

that prolonged call in the beginning is CROW? Can you post a youtube vid with that kind of crow please?
anyone?
I agree with the first guy, definitely a crow

show me the crow that sounds just like it
I really hope there is somebody actually non-shitposter around here.
The closest (in terms of pattern) i so far got is Red throated diver, but it sounds differently.
It has to be a big bird with big lungs to wail out such a prolonged call. Please, listen to the vid

(uploaded externally, since i can't upload here with the sound stream)
nevermind, found it

What was it?

unbelievably... it was a crow
>>2392242
just kidding, it was a common loon

Which doesn't make any sense, they don't even have common loons in Japan.
So i got very close with the red throated diver - they are from the same family.
Apparently, they are very common in Canada. So where the fuck are all Canadians/Alaska, when you need one?!

That's pretty cool, anon.
Loons and their calls remind me of Tom Green though.
