I made the mistake of leaving a ladder out in my house and my dog just walked underneath it.
I'm a little worried if she's going to be having bad luck, or does it not apply to our canine friends?

What we can infer from black cats being unlucky is that bad luck affects animals too. You better watch your dog closely over the next few days.

this is a tricky situation and you should rebalance your pupe's luck before she gets a piece of poo stuck to her bum or accidentally tips over her waterdish
I suggest taking her for a walk and picking up every lucky penny you find; the good luck will primarily go to you but by being in close proximity and connected by a physical object (leash), your doggo will absorb residual luck, and gradually nullify the ladder's curse
