I found a mother duck and 8 ducklings in my pool. The pool was once empty but now filled with a foot or two of rainwater, so it's basically a tiny pond. I want to make sure they survive. Wat do.

I guess just let them do their thing

Can the ducklings leave the pool?

It doesn't look like it. There are some steps that look too high for them. There's a shallow end that isn't underwater, but no path to ground level.

I'm assuming they are wild ducks and not domestic?
If they are stuck in the pool they are basically contained tiny snacks for any predator that can jump down, gorge, and then climb back out. You could do the mother a huge favor by making them a ramp to climb out before that happens. Hopefully she will lead them someplace safer this time and nature will do it's thing.

I would do like this anon said and lay a plank of wood over the steps to the pool so they have a ramp and then just let them be.
