>Was a wreck for a while, still can't bring it up without choking up
>Debating on getting one or two catters following this
>What I really like with cats is just how they always chill around me/cuddle on me (I'm a straight male, go figure)
>Got one for now, fast forward a year, I love her and she's a great cat but a lot more on the hyper end that I like to deal with and doesn't cuddle as much as I'd like her to; obviously that's just her personality (and she's still young) and I'm not complaining
>Thinking of getting a second for cuddling/chilling purposes when she doesn't want to also to keep her busy when I don't feel like playing
I have a couple questions;
1. I really just like sharing a strong bond with a cat and feel like that bond wouldn't be nearly as strong if I'm splitting it with another cat; is this nonsense? Up until recently I had two dogs (put one down last saturday, I'll save the sob story and details) but couldn't get nearly as close to them as I could with cats. It's hard to explain but I just like how there's a relationship of "me and them" and don't know if a second cat would kind of mess that up. I feel like I won't be able to get attached to two nearly as well as I could with one
2. Is my first cat just going to end up spending time with the second cat instead of me? I like how cats actually WANT to spend a lot of time with me and this could either result in fighting for my affection or ignoring me

I know this sounds stupid, but I'm introverted and don't spend a lot of time around people and cat bros make me fine with that (without them I'd still not really want to be around people a lot), they're what I like turning to when I have a hard day, not girlfriends or friends. As this is going to be a rather big part of my life for 10-20 years I'm doing this carefully
