Let's do it /an/
if we pool our resorces, we should be able to domesticate/produce a new breed that is the size of a small-large size or medium sized dog and is nice and sweet, but looks like a cheetah
It would probably be easier to domesticate and breed a real cheetah.
Also, those cats (bengals and savannahs) have horrendous behavioural issues.

To breed a docile one? Maybe 10 generations of semi docile parents. To domesticate? Longer than your lifetime probably.

I thought, historically, cheetahs had been used for sport hunting and were at least somewhat domestic. That population bottlenecks, slow breeding rates, and being reserved for only the wealthiest of a failed empire were why they never became truely domesticated?

well, i know that there are some still kept as pets in South Africa and the middle east, and they seem like they're gentle enough?
i've never heard of any major or fatal occurances
