I want to donate money to help certain animals such as elephants, but I don't know where to go to do this because a lot of organizations turn out to be really fishy. I learned that a lot of elephant sanctuaries are very cruel too.
Is there any resource for where I can find reputable places that will use my money to actually support/help animals? How is WWF?

Sorry that I don't know, but you should be proud of being the smart minority of people who actually look into who they are considering donating to.
I wish the US government would buy a huge tract of land in the USA and fill it with African animals
Then African animals can roam wild in a vast tract of land and breed without the risk of poaching

thank god you aren't in charge

Gramba national park maybe? They're park rangers actually hunt down poachers and shoot them. Its in the Democratic Republic or Congo. I'm sure they'd put the extra money to good use.

But seriously, where in the US would be appropriate? Only the very southwest would seem warm enough, not?
I think it would've been a worthwhile idea to explore in the 20fh century. But now, I dont think the US can stay together long enough to entertain such optimistic visions now.

Why would you produce a giant breeding colony for invasive animals to conquer the rest of the country from?

We've been asking this for over 55 years.
