I damn near got attacked at a park a year ago, can't remember now if it was a pit bull or not but out of nowhere came these two dogs and started growling at me, unleashed of course, and the owner finally casually sauntered up behind them not even caring and realized they were growling and then saw me and called them back. Oregon. I can buy switchblades and shurikens here, though I'm not sure if technically the former are allowed to be carried. They have some really weird and super vague regulations on what constitutes an automatic open knife and all the law material I've read there is no clear cut statement of what the legal length is, it just seems to vary based on a couple previous court cases.
