I had 11 indoor cats, only one has ever been outside. Last October I lost one to FIP, and just a few days ago another one passed. Are all of them going to die? I don't understand why this is happening so suddenly as we haven't brought a new cat into the house for almost four years. I'm scared to death they're all just going to continue dropping one by one. I've read that only a small percentage of large groups will end up dying from it, but with already 2 gone I don't know what to expect.

This.
I like cats. I have two cats. Two cats is a sane number of cats.
OP has 11 cats. That is 5 times my sane number of cats.
OP is a legit crazy cat person.

Probably. Keeping litter trays clean should be enough assuming they don't fight.
But with 11 fucking cats there is no way you're preventing cats coming in contact with each others shit. Unless you expect me to believe you have 11+ litter boxes that are cleaned immediately after use.
