My black friend has a pet pig. My cousin also has some handreared ones their farm.

They're OK. All pot bellies. Despite their intelligence they didn't seem particularly affectionate. They just sleep and occasionally sniff around unless you have food. They're not obese either.

While I find pet pigs underwhelming, pigs in general are pretty cool. We have wild boar here but at this point I am unsure if we have any true 'wild' populations of boar In the US, just ferals. Even if they look like exactly like European ones we had captive and feral pigs before them.
What makes them cool is that domestic pigs quickly exhibit wild traits over only a few generations. They grow longer, coarser fur, their tails straighten, bigger tusks and even their skulls narrow and slope.
