Hey /an/ any ideas if buying a sea cucumber is ok? What could i feed it. I tried looking online but nothing really. These seem like weird but interesting pet to have.

They filter bacteria out of sediment, going through several square feet a day, there is no way you can provide enough substrate for them.

I used to keep 3 in a 300 gallon reef tank, they're neat dudes. I have no clue what the stocking recommended is for them though, but if you want one they're very interesting to watch.

they have a nasty habit of getting spooked and literally puking their guts out. Which fouls your entire tank.

other than that they're pretty common in the aquarium trade and not particularly difficult to keep if you have experience with keeping a reef tank beforehand.

if it's going to be your first attempt at keeping saltwater, you'll fail but at least you'll learn some stuff.

Do you have a reef tank? They're easy to keep and clean and the substrate but it requires you to have a really good water cycle first otherwise they'll die.
