I've got backyard bunnies.
They eat all my veggies and I can't seem to chase them away for good.
But they're so sweet.

Cute! Have you thought about taking them?
Alternatively you could also fence off your veggie patch.
you can make a half assed fence and then plant some nice forage for them in a more accessible place like timothy or clovers or orchard grass
that way you can all be happy.. the buns get to eat and you can enjoy their company without sacrificing your crops
A terrier or sight hound will fix the problem real quick.
They're guard rabbits. Watch them closely, as they will alert you to bad shit approaching.

Scent hounds a shit to rabbits. I had a beagle that only managed to get himself hit by a car in his 12 years on rabbit guard. I did find him eating the ass end to a young rabbit one time tho, smelled like hell when he puked.
Make sure to let the dandelions grow in your yard. Don't pull them or put weed poison. Rabbits LOVE dandelions. Also chicken wire around your garden.

We grow Carolina reapers and ghost pepper in our garden. We found some bights in some of them on day and the bunnies never came back
My outdoor cat did a little bunny abortion and brought me a fetus one time, she loves killing those fuckers which is good because our back lawn is a fucking sinkhole at this point.

Well, that's one way to get pet bunnies.
Grow some carrots for them.
