That's a really interesting question. I personally don't think that a dog would rats the dead body of its owner unless it had nothing else to eat. I'm not sure about cats though. They seem to display affection toward their humans, but I think that cats would have an issue with eating its human.

The only reason I find the idea of my pet eating me after I die a problem is because then my organs probably couldn't be donated.
Rather have the body put to some kind of use desu
