On my old computer somewhere I saved a thread where we made up some simple care sheets and more reputable links for further information. Mostly basic shit like take it to the vet, tank/cage sizes, first aid kits for animals, etc.

The DEC would normally take care of that, but not every state has a DEC or has a department that is cut and dry for that stuff. Some states have a department of Environment quality and a separate Fish and Game, but it's not quite clear who you would call for injured/orphan wildlife.

The only link I found for that would be https://www.epa.gov you'd have to explain that to find your state's departments, you have to go to 'your community' and type in your state/zip code.
