Hey guys, I'm the one who posted asking about my YBS.
This is my new setup, personally, it looks dangerous concering the lighting, but this is temporary.
Also going to add sand or stones maybe and waiting for a bunch of duckweed to come.
Is there anything I should edit here? Rock position?

I dont know what YBS is but this looks like a turtle pond. Maybe use some plywood and wood screws to secure the filter and the lamp. The stone slope looks a little steep. If it is a turtle pond you probably should add a UV lights it's good for the shell.

That looks so shallow that the turtle can probably peek out the head while standing on all fours.

YBS stands for Yellow bellied slider.
That is a UV light, and my turtle has climbed steeper rocks than that.

Living in less than 1500 square feet without a backyard, that's the best I can work with until summer when I can buy something bigger.
My turtle is only around 7-8 inches long.

>That is a UV light
In that case you probably should add a heating lamp.
If I would be you I'd build a box for filtration/ light and a box around the pool. It could hide everything.
Just make sure the water is deep enough that the turtle can flip over.

An inflatable pool indoors seems like a bad idea. Could you not find large storage totes for cheap?
>>2304774
I was thinking just that. Knowing how sharp turtle claws can be. Plastic might even be cheaper

Go to tractor supply or amazon and get one of these:

or something 75 gallon +.
Never look back. Avoid the rubbermaid ones. They will crack. This is nullified if you use pond liner.

Tuff stuff is probably a better brand.

>300$
holy shit anon, that's way too expensive.
Something under 70-50$, I'm trying not to spend all of my money on a temporary habitat.
>>2304774
The largest I could find was 40 gallons, which is somewhat moronic considering my YBS already lives in a 40 gallon aquarium.

neat idea anon, but this is temporary and i cant spend that much money and space on a vanity.
Its the wrong season probably, but walmart sells plastic 120something gallon kiddie pools for like $20.
