I'm pet sitting a few jack russels and some canaries for a friend. Do the birds need a high temperature to survive? I hate running the heat and turned it off but it's 58 degrees in here now and I realized maybe that's not too good for the birds. Does it matter?

Yeah I found 57 different responses you fucking retard. I'd prefer a direct answer from someone with some experience.

Which is exactly what every google result gives you. Thousands of results that you, the allegedly intelligent human, are supposed to investigate and average based on what you can find. Are you admitting you are incapable of using google to source information? Considering one of the largest canary forums on the planet is in the top hits, it appears you are.

Why did these people even leave their pets with you in the first place?

Just keep the house a comfortable temperature for yourself, and the birds will be good you useless fuckjob.

>Birds may become comfortable at near-freezing temperatures or at temperatures upwards of 90° F (32° C)

>Canaries can adjust to cold temperatures but not a cold draft.

I understand that critical thinking and rationality were casualties of 2016 but Jesus fucking Christ dude, you take it to a whole new level.

I'm kind of cold though. I put on a sweater and it's helping a little bit but I don't have anything like that for the birds. What should I do?

Protip copy and paste the url and not the "you fucking retard part"
