Would a spider slip on ice or would it be able to maintain its traction?
i think it would die from the cold
...how the hell do they survive winter?
Do they just hibernate or something?
The hymalayan jumping spider was found at 22.000 feet in the mount himalaya.
They can walk on straight glass too.

Maintain it's traction, they have tiny claws on their feet. No matter how smooth the ice looks to us, it has texture from the freezing process, and the claws would catch that texture.

Some species die, some take shelter, some gather in a furry mat of spiders to keep warm. I dream of one day digging my hand into one, I imagine it contains lots of tickle and a little prickle.

22 feet isn't exactly high.

Pour toi.
It depends on which type of ice. Shagreen ice has a type of grain or roughness on its surface, but requires temperatures below -8 C. Also there is a spider that can melt its way through ice using a chemical reaction between the protein in their silk and a component of their venom.

I'm gonna need some sauce on this, cause I never heard of a spider that can melt ice and sounds amazing.
