Could anyone tell me what's wrong with my roommates cat? She isn't acting weird, just happens to be licking this spot like a mad cat. I noticed alittle scabbing and maybe some scarring but idk.

Cats will also lick spots bald because of fleas. As another anons have said, mange and mites are also possibilities.

Get that kitty to the vet sooner than later.
