Yes. Wouldn't own any animal and not have it chipped within reason.

All of my pets are chipped. I don't see why you wouldn't chip your pets, if you give a shit about them.

It's unlikely he'll ever be out of my sight but if he does end up in a shelter or away from home I want that extra security.

Also PSA for everyone has their pets chipped, make sure you keep the info up to date!! The chip is utterly useless if your contact details aren't correct
