There's a small falcon in my backyard that's eyeing my pet bird that's locked in a cage. How do I domesticate that majestic creature without sacrificing my bird?
This is what it kind of looks like

You mean "tame". "Domesticate" means something else.
>>2257563
Whatever you are trying to do is illegal and fucked up.
Also you cannot tame a wild animal. Few retarded kid succeeds at that, it would end in tragedy.

Just do the same thing Hiccup did in How to train your dragon. Shoot him and go pick him up in the forest. Then breed him and after a few generations of artificial selection you'll have a new domesticated species.

Yeah but I live in a third world country so its not like the law matters. I just really want to tame a falcon.

That's why you live in a third world country.
¿me comprendes? You better keep an eye on that thing, look out for poachers, try putting bird houses and bird feeders to attract smaller birds so the Falcon can eat, stuff like that.

yeah kid how do you imagine it would work? are you going to cripple it? build it a voliere?
because it's not going to be your obedient little puppy if you capture it

You have a Merlin or American Kestrel on your hands. They eat bugs and small birds. Ultra cute.
