Does anyone know why he leaves sometimes, but always comes back to this general area. (Inside and around my door)

He probably hangs out to catch bugs attracted to a porch light or something, if you have one. There's always one by our house too, or there was till my mom squished him in the sliding glass door accidentally.

Probably leaves, to hide from predators or go look for bugs/a mate elsewhere, and comes back because there's always bugs around the door.

Speaking of which I appear to have gained a resident white tailed jackrabbit in my back yard this past month. There is a little mini playground back there and bunny sleeps snuggled under the slide every night. I have started leaving it greens to much on. Bunny loves bok choy.

to eat. probably to guard his territory. do frogs have territory like lions? anyway the door is now his.
