friendly reminder that if your pets don't have a water fountain, you're abusing them
I have a plastic bowl that I just poor water into whenever it's empty.
Sometimes my dog has to whine to let me know it's empty though, I usually don't bother to check it for a few days.
yeah let's make things even more overly complicated to clean.
>washing 2 extra parts once a week
>overly complicated
how do i know you have cats?

A water bowl is fine you homo
>>2251140
fuck off they wouldn't have a water fountain in the wild either
he should be fucking thankful i feed and house him

But they would have access to flowing water, not just still water.
I'm not OP, and I don't think it's abuse or anything to not have one. But some animals really prefer drinking flowing water, like cats, and it's not a bad idea to get a fountain for them to make sure they're well hydrated.
>using completely unnecessary gadgetry that only increases the risk of bacteria problems by being difficult to clean (whole circuit) compared to a simple bowl that you can clean several times a day in a couple seconds
Consumerism whores.

my dog slobbers so much that i have to run her bowl through the dishwasher on sanitize every night. it gets slimy if i skip a day. a fountain would be awful.

those are actually almost necessary for cats. most of them won't drink water unless it's running.
dogs will drink out of a stagnant pool of water and the toilet.

Put the fountain in the dishwasher
