I never post here so forgive me. Just wondering if anyone here has ever owned a red claw crab? I just got one and here he is eating an apple. He loves apples and cucumbers. Just need some general advice on how to keep these little guys as healthy as possible? I've googled the basics i.e. Tank, water, food requirements but has anyone here got any more advice for someone who has never owned an aquatic creature until now ?

Buy a better fucking camera, so that the next time you start a thread it can have more than one shitty pic in it.
Had a crawdad for a year and a half.
AMA, faggot.
Keep his diet varied, these guys are scavengers and quickly die if they aren't given enough protein, fishing nightcrawlers tend to go over fairly well, or frozen minnows

And calcium. Crustaceans are fucked royally without it.
When it molts, leave the shell in there. They eat it for the calcium. Give it like 2 days.

can you add milk to your aquarium to supply your crustaceans with calcium?
