Is wet food better than dry for dogs or is that just a cat thing?
>My dog
It's all preference, unless your dog has bad teeth.

What kind of dog is that?

She's from the pound so im not sure. Possibly a border collie mix?

She looks like the ideal dog I'm looking for. I have always loved the look of border collies. She's cute af.
Generally, feeding a dog all wet food is really cost prohibitive.
A decent canned food is Merrick. I generally see it for about 2.50 a can.
A 40 pound dog would need about 2.5 cans a day. At 2.50 a can, that is 2.5 X 2.5 X 31, which comes about to about 194 dollars a month.
Now for a comparison, let's look at Orijin, which is widely considered the "best of the best" for dog food. I'll assume something between active and less active. You'll need 150 grams a day for your dog. A 25 pound bag of Orijin is about 80 dollars. For a 40 pound dog, that is about 75 meals. So the same per month measure we were using, per month you would be spending about 33 dollars.
So a decent canned food is almost 6 times as one of the best dry foods you can buy.

Dogs only smell when their owners don't bathe them.
Cats smell 100% of the time, no matter how clean you attempt to keep them, and stink up your house too.

You must be doing somthing wrong, my cat never smells.
You best bet is dog food, that is drie. My dog prefers dry over wet, in it leads to a healthier in more stable digestive system.

not really i give my cat watre all the time from the sink he even jumps in the shower sometimes to get a drink
>>2222329
my friend's ex had a cat that did that
it died young of liver failure because that was the only time it drank water and it was chronically dehydrated because of that
>>2222322
>muh cat, it's speshul!
No, it's not. Your cat smells like ammonia
>>2222341
Cats don't smell like anything. And I don't even have cats, so I know I'm not just used to it. The only time I've smelled a cat is when I found a longhaired stray that had clearly been pissing/shitting on itself from lack of grooming while it was lost.

Different anon, but generally, if a cat smells bad, then it probably has dental problems. A cat should smell neutral. If anyone you know has a cat that actually smells bad, you should encourage them to take it to the vets for a dental cleaning.
>>2222358
Cats themselves don't smell like anything but it is impossible to get rid of the piss smell in your house, even if the litter is changed every day.
If I walk into a house and they have ever had a cat, I can always tell immediately. Even if the cat has been gone for months. Something is wrong with your sense of smell.

Cats smell like piss. It's not their teeth. And it's all cats, 100% of the time. They are just disgusting animals.
>>2222366
Its usually the ownerwhcreate thete then environment for the cat , think about that for a while. Humans are vile and disgusting.
