I like them (unless of course they arrive in swarms lel)

I enjoyed playing with them as a kid (though they would often spit on me lel)

I think I liked how big they can get, and they never bite. Often, if one is careful, you can hold them without them fussing.

Also, they make a funny sound when they fly, and are quite content, it seemed to me, just to sit and enjoy the sun.

Here is one I thought I hallucinated many years ago in Florida, until someone posted a pic of it and I realized I didn't imagine it.

Florida has a lot of strange creatures, it turns out.
