Two of these frogs live on my back door. They hide out up high at the sliding area and come out to stick to the glass to eat bugs that come near the porch light.

I always liked treefrogs.
They are just badass. Lucky op.

Sometimes when i open the door they jump in and go racing around the house. I have to chase them down and catch them

Its really cool when you get random pets that take care of themselves and you just co-exist. Also goes to show that every animal, even amphibians have some level of understanding when it comes to trust. You put them outside and they keep coming back because they know you wont hurt them. Neat.

I have a couple.toads living under my porch. They come out and eat bugs around the walkway lights when the sun sets.
Largest one has gotten pretty comfy with me, I have to be careful not to step on him because he won't move out of the way.

Lots of critters here, I have about 30 hummingbirds this season. I think most are juveniles born here this year.

They don't keep coming back because they know he won't hurt them. They just don't give a fuck or understand what's going on.

Think like a frog thinks.
Which is basically
>bugs at light
>sit on glass
>eat bugs
>human not kill
>repeat steps 2-4

Essentially trust

Trust is an interesting concept when you articulate it through the mind of an animal. I'll ponder that later, thank you.
