I brutally annihilated this rabbit's sibling accidently while mowing the lawn at my mothers house, but this one was spared and ran off a little bit and doesn't seem injured. I put it in a box and covered it with some grass and wild herbs and he's sitting in there now. Does this rabbit have a chance of survival or is it doomed since I unearthed them from their nest and shocked the everloving fucking shit out of it? If I can save it, what should I be doing?

Should I pack fresh or dead grass around it as the "nest" material?
Can rabbits have self-heal, dandelion, plantain, and can it have some leaves from my kale plants?
What other food should it be given? Does it need to have it's food pre-broken down or some shit since it's a baby?
Would a styrofoam cup work to give it a water bowl, or would it destroy it via chewing?
How much heat does it need? Does the adequately packed nest take care of that with it's insulation?
What else should I do to try to keep it alive?
>>
what on earth are you doing just put it back
>>
That rabbit is big enough that it's no longer nursing, so just put it back and it'll eat what it needs to eat. 90 to 95% of baby/juvenile rabbits become food for things higher up the food chain. Around me that's foxes, coyotes, Cooper's hawks, fisher cats, and outdoor domestic cats.

Rabbits are evil little critters, cook the thing or put it back.

This, make some rabbit stew.

I went to read here and then went back to go see how it was and it had jumped out of the box and walked to the other side of the garage, so I knew it was fine now and put it back into the original nest hole, and it ran away.
