I'm sorry anon. My dog died in April and I cried for 2 weeks straight. I still miss her. Remember her fondly, its going to be a tough time.

Thanks fellas. She's resting in the back yard now. It's going to be rough but I do have all those memories

Remember all the good and happy times, and have some comfort you gave her a dignified, peaceful way out.

And when your heart is in the right place, go find a new friend and aim to give him or her twice as good of a life your old passing friend had.

Yep, that's her. And yeah, it's gotten better over the last day, but it's still hard. Gonna be for a while.

Though in a weird twist of serendipity, when my dad and I were digging, I found a big chunk of granite that would make a nice little marker for where she's buried, so I've devoted my time to sanding and carving it, which is helping
