so we have a pug and the vet said he might get blind unless we use the Sodium hyaluronate at 1%.
Is there any other product that prevent the pug from going blind?
Can I use the human Sodium hyaluronate at 4%?
At first I thought he only needed to have lubed eyes so we bought hypromellose.

Human products are not typically the same for animal products. They may have harmless additives for us but could be devastating for other animals. If the vet is a 1%, use a 1%. 4% may be too strong on a dog.
Just listen to the vet. Sometimes you can diy medication but if you are not familiar with it then its not worth the risk.
