Hey /an/aerobic /an/teaters, we had some field mice in the house and now we don't. One I couldn't extricate from the trap so I let someone else handle it (who probably just threw it in the trash), the other one I was able to remove, but there was a lot of shaking involved and it's still got glue on it so maybe it won't live. Anyway as I was carrying the second one out it... did something, and I ended up a cut on my thumb. I didn't see it bleeding and I put peroxide on it.
So my question is: How long before I'm dead of mouse AIDS and they have to clean the rabies foam off my corpse?
Also I'm having pain in that hand/wrist/arm intermittently and I don't know if it's related or not, or if I'm maybe even imagining it because I'm worried.

anything from a few days to over a year.
I mean if it makes you feel better mice basically never carry rabies.
Could be other disease shit though, but at least it isn't rabies.

Get yourself to a doctor stat. They can carry any number of pretty shitty things. It's not an emergency, but if you wind up feeling bad, it will get worse fast so just be prepared.
