I'm going on a vacation for a week which means leaving my cat alone. I've got someone who can feed her every day but I'm not sure if I should keep her inside or outside.
During the summer time she's outside about half the time and spend most nights inside.
I want to keep her inside while I'm away but she's got urinary tract problems so if she never goes outside she's gonna piss all over the house.
If I keep her outside for the entire week and my buddy comes to give her food at my back door every day, is there a chance she's gonna run away and not come back or something? I'm really worried.
cover everything in plastic and keep her inside.

If it's a cat that wants to live, it will run away. If it's badly injured, too emaciated to move, or has a neurological issue, it won't be able to run away. But to preserve it's own well being, it will most definitely run away and maybe find new owners to feed him.
