Crows shitting on my pool cover. Literally the most disgusting

If your pool cover dips into the water at all, would it be possible to send electric current into the water at the edge of the pool? That would discourage them from landing and defecating.

All you have to do is google a species of bird that is native to your region which out-competes/preys on crows. Then go on youtube, find a recording of that species making lots of vocalizations. Make a playlist of these recordings. Then hook up your computer/laptop/tablet/whatever so that it plays the recordings while the crows are hanging around.

You can even take it one step further and buy a model of the specific bird species, like those owl statues you always see, and set it up in your backyard. Make sure to move it every couple of days.
