Can anyone ID this specie of plant?
Someone gave them to me unexpectedly which is why they are in cups, but I will rehome them into proper pots ASAP. They did not know the specie, So I am not exactly sure what care they need.

Elephant ears, Alocasia. Not sure which specific variety. They'll get big.

Someone told me elephant ears but when I looked them up they were huge, and a lot of different types came up.

Honestly, Will it grow that big or did the person who gave me this found a dwarf? Does that exist? Dwarf elephant ears? I think my last picture shows the leaf well enough to ID but I am not good at this.

There are a metric shit tonne of species of Alocasia, and they vary in size. Judging by your pic, they definitely seem to be on the smaller end of the spectrum.

Even the bigger ones can be kept in a relatively small pot though, and they are pretty easy to take care of. Just keep them wet.

The fact that there are so many varieties in this family confuses me a lot. I hope I find the exact specie. I would like it to get large, But maybe not like some pictures Ive seen. I just cant tell if its a baby giant or teen average. (size wise)
>>
Definitely brown recluse.
>>
I read that general Elephant ears need a lot of water, prefer shade, and cant survive very low temps. That seems enough guide lines for care but I really want to know the exact specie to learn more about how big this plant can get.

Keeping them in small pots (like you have now) will constrain their roots and keep them relatively smaller.
