Hey /an/, I need some advice / help.
I'm watching a friends pets while she's away and one of them is a mouse. It was in it's cage the day before, but when I came today it had gotten out somehow. While looking through out the room for the mouse, I took a step backwards and stepped on it. I immediately lifted my foot as soon as I felt him underneath me, but I think I did put too much pressure down.
Picking him up and putting him back in the cage, he immediately went to his water source to drink. Observing him, he's acting fairly normally. The only thing I can definitely tell is different is he's not using his front left paw. At all. He's not using it to walk, burrow around in his bedding, or pick up food to eat.
Am I worrying too much and he'll just get better or should I take him to the vet in the morning in case I fucked up his front left paw?

Take him to the vet ASAP. The mouse was in your care and it's your responsibility. Also tell your friend what happened don't try hiding it.
Take him to a vet. Mice are very good at hiding illness or pain.
Take him to the vet, definitely.
Seems unanimous so far.
Take to vet.
