Hey /an/ I need your help

Usually I don't come here but there's this growth on my cat's cheek, it's grey, rubbery and slightly wrinkled.

I'm not sure what it is but I want to make sure it's not nothing before taking it to the vet.

Looks like a full soaked tick

Like the other anon said, it might be an engorged tick. They're nasty fuckers. In your picture it looks like I can sort of see some of its legs, so take a closer look.

If it is a tick, unless you're confident in removing it properly by yourself, I'd take her to the vet to have it removed. Depending on where you live, the vet might also recommend a blood test for Lyme disease.

>Not knowing about ticks

Why are these people allowed to have pets? Even an untrained would at least eat it.

Tick

you can remove it yourself with tweezers if your cat is tolerant. Grab the small, black body that's mostly lodged in the cat's chin and pull steadily but firmly to remove. Make sure you dont tear the tick as even just the head can bury itself in your cats skin causing more problems.

but take cat to vet anyway since ticks can carry diseases(Lyme disease in particular)

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
