what the fuck is this on my dogs ears ???
he got in to a brief scuffle with another dog yesterday so at first i thought it was just a scratch from that, or blood that dried up..
but i think i remember him reacting to the pain before the scuffle (that ear is very sensitive to the touch, only that one ear is affected the other is normal) so that makes me question if its mites, infection, etc etc

Take her to a vet nd get rabid inj ,nd get that cleaned seems infected yo,also get sme antibiotics.
Ear mites. You need to get meds and be super diligent about using them and cleaning those ears out.

That looks like earmites...
It's hard to find good meds at the petstores, so your best bet would probably be the vets, or a farm supply store. But if you go to the farm supply, make sure it has actual medication in it and isn't some of the 'organic' stuff.
Not trying to say organic stuff doesn't work, just that I went through four different bottles and none of them worked, and I needed actual medication from the vet.

The ear is red and irritated and there's a layer (maybe even lumps?) of black stuff. Not only does your dog have a mite infestation, but a bad one. Those ears are so irritated. Poor thing.

Like this anon said, you need Rx meds from the vet (they're pretty cheap) or get them from a farm store but make sure it actually has the correct insecticide to kill mites.
